Fun times with one of my regular fishing buddies Craig and his mate Tony from Melbourne. We hit the Nambucca River from Macksville and managed Bream, Flathead and even scored a random mullet on plastics and hardbodies. We also had a bit of a laugh trying to recover a kayak we found sunken in about 6m, but it had obviously been sitting on the bottom a while and I’d say was full of sand and mud. With the use of the Lowrance Structure Scan, I was able to direct Tony with the grapnel anchor and he managed to hook up to it twice, but both times we were unable to shift it from the bottom. It was good fun for half an hour giving it a go though! If you lost it let me know, I’ve got the GPS coordinates for you 😉
